ReachOut has 3 ways in which it can support the parents of young people for FREE: 1. Self-help content 2. Community forums 3. One-on-One parent coaching sessions VOLUNTEER PARENT PEER SUPPORT ReachOut Australia are always looking for parents to volunteer as Parent Peer Supporters for their online forum. To be eligible to be a Parent Peer Supporter you must ● Be the parent or caregiver of a 12-21 year old ● Live in the Sydney and surrounds (within 2 hours drive of Sydney) ● Complete a two day training workshop ● Commit to 2 hrs of moderation work a week for a six month period Successful applicants for this role will gain skills in peer-support, community building, community management, self-care, mentoring and leadership.
